I have luck getting rid of pink eye (not for myself, for campers!) about 50% of the time with frequent saline rinses and applying the max Polysporin eye/ear drops. (That's 2 drops 4 times a day.) And try to keep him from rubbing his eye -- yeah right! You might also be able to get gentamicin drops OTC instead of by prescription. It's worth a try! Good luck! And good luck trying to get drops in his eye without him squeezing them shut! I agree with Rah. This was in Canada. But I just asked the pharmacist and he pointed them out for me. Hope this helps!
