As someone who's graduated 4 times already (and who has 3 more to go), I feel that a ceremony is a way to consciously experience the emotions in an acute way rather than let them slip by gradually and perhaps unpondered/unnoticed.  CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU!!!</description>
