Again. I am sick A-FREAKIN’-GAIN! Every single day for six weeks now at least two out of the four people in our household has been sick. Every day. The snot has subsided but the sickness, it continues. On and on and on. And just for a little extra torture fun, my son is teething as well. Two teeth in the last two weeks and more on the way. Yay.
You know how people say that your kid will be getting sick more frequently once they start school and are getting exposed to so many more germs? Not so, my friends, not so. It is YOU who will be getting sick more often, as you child picks up all kinds of nasty, dirty little bugs at school and brings them home to present to you like a magical cloud of fairy dust. Fairy dust that is infected with botulism and the black plague and every mother-farking “cold” bug on the face of the damn planet. Of course not everyone has such a pathetic, weak-ass immune system as I do. It just never learns its lesson, greeting every single germ as a long lost lover, kissing it on the mouth and spooning in bed all night and having little bastard germ babies all over my insides.
I am in a bad, foul mood today and my children are cowering in fear acting even more clingy just because they can tell that I want as little human interaction and activity as possible today. They are annoying special that way.

Greg has an awesome immune system like yours. I finally got sick of it, and this summer put him on a multi-vitamin/mineral and echanacia (however you spell it). Although it’s all voodoo, this was the first summer of camp in 7 years he didn’t get majorly sick (ie. last year he was sick by the 2nd week in, and not better until middle of October). So, Greg’s a believer, but I am still a little skeptical.
Of course, if you ask Paul, he swears by Cold FX.
I swear by not getting the flu shot, but don’t take my advice.
