Well, I just got back from casting my vote in today’s election. It’s only the third time I’ve voted and it’s funny but every time I feel a sense of excitement that I have participated in this process that is bigger than myself or my small sphere of influence. It is so low key and doeesn’t seem like a big deal and yet I feel as though I have done something of consequence. Even though I was conflicted about my final decision on which candidate to support, I’m glad I voted. In some ways, it is a humbling experience.
